Some heroes.  If you don’t know them….

• Wietse Venema.  The best.
• Steve Bellovin.  Also the best.

Other, mostly younger, turks, in not too much of an ordered fashion that I can’t call random.

• Tsutomo shimomura.  When he walks into a room of people the IQ doubles.
• Matt blaze.   I wouldn’t want to be his enemy.
• HD Moore.   I wouldn’t want to be his target either. Big brain, big heart.
• David wagner.  Yikes.

• Solar designer
• Peter neumann.  May I be half as active, productive smart and cool when I’m his age.  Heck, just let me grow up to be as old ;)
