The sense of awe and aloneness&#8230; and the grandeur of tokyo, which I&#8217;m already in love with&#8230; Sofia just nailed that one. I don&#8217;t know what I&#8217;d think if I didn&#8217;t have a certain background, some people seem to detest the movie, but perhaps they haven&#8217;t been there (or it cuts too close to the truth, perhaps.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 180px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-654\" title=\"images\" src=\"https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-96x96.jpeg 96w, https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-24x24.jpeg 24w, https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-36x36.jpeg 36w, https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-48x48.jpeg 48w, https:\/\/trouble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/images-64x64.jpeg 64w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a scene in the fabulous Lost in Translation that is simply one of my favorite movie moments ever; for awhile I would drink and watch it over and over:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lost In Translation (2003) - One Minute Film School - Music in movies\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vSPO2l8HUBU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Bill is stumbling at singing&#8230; almost embarrassingly poorly&#8230; and then he sees the words, sings &#8220;more than this&#8221;, looks over, and that&#8217;s it, the connection. In a strange country, you can be anyone, even yourself, to a stranger. And Scarlett in pink hair, of course is to die for&#8230; but&#8230;. it&#8217;s more than that, not more than this.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s life, love, tokyo. That people can transcend, rise above&#8230; life is a weight, a burden, that I strive to rise above.
